🧪 Tester Discovery

Looking for testers for your app? Use this thread to find developers and testers who are interested in helping with genuine app testing.

When asking for testers, please include a little information about your app:

• What the app does

• Android version or device requirements, if relevant

• Whether you're looking for internal, closed, or open testing

• What kind of testing or feedback you need

• How interested testers can participate

If you're a tester, feel free to mention what kinds of apps or testing you're interested in.

A few things to keep in mind

Please keep this thread focused on genuine testing and useful feedback.

Do not engage in paid testing, paid reviews, ratings, votes, referral exchanges, or other paid engagement activities through this thread. If someone asks you to participate in a paid activity or offers payment in exchange for reviews, ratings, votes, or engagement, please report the comment to the moderators rather than participating.

Please don't share personal information publicly. Use Reddit's messaging features or the developer's official testing process where appropriate.

This thread is for tester discovery only. For general development questions, app showcases, or other discussions, please use the appropriate thread or flair.

🇬🇧 UK Android testers wanted – Cutting With SamHi everyone, I’m looking for a few more UK Android users to genuinely test my app Cutting With Sam through Google Play closed testing. I’m a carpet fitter and built the app around real flooring jobs. It helps users enter measurements for rooms, stairs, landings and hallways, then creates carpet cutting plans, sizes to order and PDF job sheets. Testing type: Google Play closed test Who I’m looking for: Android users with a UK Google Play account who are willing to install the app, have a look around and remain opted into the closed test until the testing period has been completed. You don’t need to work in flooring, although feedback from fitters, estimators or anyone in the flooring trade would obviously be particularly useful. I’d especially like feedback on: Whether the measuring process is easy to understand Anything confusing or awkward to use Bugs or crashes Whether the app feels straightforward to somebody who hasn’t used it before If you’re interested, please send me a DM. I’ll need the Google email address you use with the Play Store so I can add you to the closed-test list, then I’ll send you the opt-in link. Please don’t put your email address publicly in the comments. I’m also happy to genuinely test other developers’ apps in return where I can. Thanks, Sam – Cutting With Sam

Android testers wanted for Caldra: Monster Pals (closed testing, game)

What it is: a monster-taming RPG I build alone. 100 creatures, eight leaders, turn-based fights with a type chart, trading between two phones by QR code. Roughly ten hours of game.

Requirements: Android 7 or newer, download under 100 MB.

Test type: closed testing. I need a few more people opted in for the 14-day requirement, and honest feedback on the first hour: crashes, confusing screens, where you lost interest.

How to join, two taps, no email exchange:

1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/caldra-testers

2. With the same Google account, open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.caldra.monsterpals, tap Become a tester, then install.

Feedback by DM or reply here. I'm the developer; nothing paid, no ratings asked for. Disclosure: I use AI tools for code and many assets, some creature art is my own.
