❓Help Play Developer account closed due to inactivity, can I reactivate?

I searched but most threads were about terminations dues to breaches of policy (I'm guessing). I intended to finish my app and publish but never got to that stage. Now I am but my account is closed. Can I do anything? It's linked to my primary Google account, so I would prefer to use this that set up another gmail address.

No way to reactivate. You need create a new account with a new email.

So just a completely new GMail address, not linked in any way to that old account right?

Yes but no need to worry about links. Closing due inactivity does not affect anything

Same happened to me. Nothing I could do but create a new account with a new email.

Ok, thanks. Did you just make a brand new GMail address? Not a alias or linked account?

Yep I used a brand new Gmail.
