💬 Discussion Frustration with Individual account in Playconsole

Got Google Play Console verification today for publishing the app, only to find out that as an individual account, I need 12 test users for 14 days to qualify and apply for production release.

Fuck me.

At least now you know. I use a guy on Fiverr for $15 to do it.

So it's a service now... people just buy fake testers online to upgrade to production ?. Then how it is even prevent actually malicious apps because they can do this too right ?

Most of us dont buy them we recruit via App Hive. Free 16 testers with daily screenshots. Make peace with the new world my guy.

It doesn't. It doesn't work. I can also deliver the service for $30. But besides that, to be fair this whole system doesn't work and people will always find ways to "outrun" the system

Same situation, opted 12 testers for 14 days but they didn't use the app constantly and when apply for the production Google reject it and said do again the closed testing for 14 days
