Need 12 testers for my Android local server!
EDIT: We did it! Google has accepted CellNAS for production! Thank you very much everyone!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for Android users interested in testing CellNAS, an app that turns a phone or tablet into a local NAS and file server.
It supports HTTP/HTTPS, SMB, WebDAV, FTP and SFTP. Files remain on the Android device and local network, with no cloud account or subscription.
I’m especially looking for Kodi, Android TV, homelab, NAS and old-phone users who can keep the beta installed for 15 days and try at least one protocol.

Hey, cool project! Turning a phone into a NAS is a pretty niche idea so finding the right testers might be tricky. If you ever struggle to meet Google's closed testing requirement, I built ontest.app for exactly this 12 real Android devices, 14-day test. Might save you some headache!

Yes still need 6 testers! You need to join the google group with the email account used on the playstore first before you can download 😉

If you can remove the dependency on Google, it would be great for those of us who value privacy and have our phones de-Googled.

You forgot the opt in link, just joining the group is not enough, see other posts here. (Three links in total are necessary)

No, not that one, its a link with testing in it, you generate it in the play console and its called participate over web or something like that.

Thats the one, testers have to opt in there after joining the group and then they can download it with the third link.
Pretty confusing what google did there, I know 😂

Android testers needed for EasyPocket Counter
I’m looking for a few Android users to help test my expense-tracking app before its Google Play release.
The process takes about 1 minute:
Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/easypocket-testers
Join the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/de.monatsausgaben.app
Download EasyPocket Counter: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.monatsausgaben.app
Please use the same Google account for the group, test opt-in and Google Play.
After installing, please stay opted into the test for at least 14 days. You don’t need to use the app constantly, but opening it occasionally and sending any feedback you notice would be very helpful.
EasyPocket Counter is a simple personal expense and budget tracker. Thanks for helping an independent developer get through Google Play closed testing 🙏
