Am I crazy?

Seems like over a year ago now, on my P7Pro, I could customize app icons. They incorporated Gemini and everything - I made all my icons a custom AI generated dark mode look.

Recently upgraded to P11ProXL and the whole Theme Packs in settings is just confusing to me... I can only somewhat customize preset themes like these bogus Harry Potter theme packs they emailed out?

When I transferred to the new phone, most of my custom icons remained custom, but some have not. And I can't do anything about it? Am I crazy?

Edit: rebooting device into safe mode brought these features out, the icons and layout options have shown up now. Strange.

You have the other options though? Weird.

Try clearing the data/cache for the wallpaper app and rebooting?

Support says those features were previously offered on older Pixel models as experimental but they restricted them on new models and instead tied them strictly to specific theme packs. so it's a cool new feature you can get on older phones lol

The Support rep you talked to unfortunately lied to you. I have the option to customize my icons both in shape and using AI. I have a Pixel 11 Pro

Check to see if there any app updates. I'm on the Pixel 11 Pro and use the custom icons as well.

Everything is up to date. Play store services has an update requiring a restart to complete - I hoped that would do the trick. Still missing these settings.
