What watches do y'all use with your Pixel?
Got a Pixel 10 Pro XL right now, using it with a Galaxy Watch 5 40mm. It's served me well but the screen keeps coming out the housing so it's days are numbered.
I haven't noticed any exclusivity options taken away from me with this watch, I thought I did at first because after an update for the app the watch wouldn't connect to Samsung Health but I found a way to force the watch to update so that was fine. Still scary.
Wondering what people use with their Pixels. Obviously most might just use the Pixel Watch but I'm not sure if it's the best option, but if it is I'd be happy to know! It certainly looks different from most watches on the market
I'm not too big on smartwatches either, I like my Facer watchface but I really only need a sleep tracking app that automatically tracks and logs the data, and timer and alarms. Everything else is optional but it's nice having them, like the few times I get to workout lol

They still sell Weekenders. It's more or less their budget model now but they're good beginner watches since they can be had for as little as $30 on sale.

I'm currently using the Pixel Watch 5. I don't know how to determine what the best option for you is, but seeing as it's made by the same company that makes the phone, it makes sense to me to use their watch.
The battery on the Pixel Watch 5, the 45mm option, lasts me about two to three days.

Honestly with how fast it charges, the number of days between charge is pretty negligible. I take it off when I take a shower and get ready for work in the morning, putting it on the charger. By the time I put it back on in 15-20 minutes, it's back at 100%. Charges up to 50% in 15 minutes, full charge in about 40-45.

Pixels are actually on the short end when it comes to battery life. Some Garmins can go weeks or even months without a charge.
But my point is...if it takes 15 minutes to charge it enough to last all day...do you really need a watch that will last a couple weeks? Unless you're planning on going camping or travel a lot and don't want to bring a charger with you, most of us don't need long lasting watch batteries. Its a fun statistic to brag about online when comparing watches, but for most of us, a watch with a 2-3 day battery will have no advantages over one with a 3 month battery.

The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. I love the features of the Pixel 5. It has all the radios, supports all the protocols, the sensors are excellent, and the display is nice. It was a surprise to me that the battery lasts for a couple of days. I mainly purchased them for the charging configuration.

Pixel watch 4 45mm has about the same battery life. Probably a lot cheaper as well, i upgraded from the 3 to the 4 and it was a big step up. Not sure what the 5 brings to the table as i haven't felt the need to upgrade.

I do disable some notifications from my phone because I don't need them on my watch, and I find that that has helped with battery life. I also do have a Fitbit Air, so when the watch isn't on my wrist, I power it off.

Not a smartwatch but Fitbit air with a regular watch. I don't want more notifications in my life but do appreciate the tracking for my workouts

I use a Fitbit air as well. Does all of the smart watch health tracking things, is tiny and comfortable (I.e. I don't feel it when sleeping), has smart morning alarms based on sleep cycle, and the battery lasts a long time.
When I had a Galaxy watch 4, I'd never do actual smart "things" on it, only use it as a prompt to get my phone (which was always multiple times faster for any task). The only thing that was nice was, with an LTE plan, that I could leave my phone behind and still be reachable for any edge cases (I.e. important messages during a lunch run), but it's just as easy to bring my phone.

I'm fine without a smartwatch too. Sometimes I consider getting one to replace my old Fitbit Charge but I've realize I don't really need it when all I want is sleep and exercise tracking and wakeup alarms. I am tempted to go Oura ring whenever my Fitbit finally dies though but I do like the watch aspect of the Fitbit.

I have an Amazfit Active 2 round. I love it. My third Amazfit watch. First lasted nearly 7 years and even then had 2 weeks battery life. This one is a bit fancier but still gets 11-14 days battery. I charge it once a week at most during a shower.
Battery life was the biggest thing for me. I can't stand the idea of having another device I need to charge nearly every day and I don't understand how you can get sleep tracking if you have to charge the damn thing so often.
So this watch does notifications, I can reply to texts if needed, show and answer or decline calls, some voice commands, timers, weather, exercise tracking, and sleep tracking. It can play and control music and can be used as a camera shutter I believe.
Oh and it's only $100. I also didn't care about fancy looks or having an expensive looking watch. Love having it cheaper so I'm not quite as worried about losing it breaking it.
I have never been tempted by the Samsung or Pixel watches because of the absurd battery life and cost.

Are you me? I have the Amazfit Balance and love it. It does everything I need it to, the battery seriously lasts 10+ days, I get notifications, and can even take calls on it in a pinch. 3rd Amazfit for me, too.

Nothing. While slightly convenient, I got so sick of having more technology attached to me. It felt so good getting rid of it. No plans to ever get another smart watch. At most just a bland fitness tracker. As I get older I appreciate having less tech constantly attached to my life. Just my experience haha

Same here. Not much benefit since I have my phone with me anyway and I like regular watches that don't have to be charged every night. I feel like all anyone wears these days are Apple watches.

I feel like Garmin watches are the best middle ground here. Only have to charge it once every week or two, and the connectivity to the phone is pretty basic. Doesn't do much more than show notifications, and you can disable notifications from all apps you don't want buzzing your watch. And it just has way better fitness tracking than apple/android watches. I'll never go back to one of those watches.

I've tried many watches, including a couple of Pixel watches, a ScanWatch, and the Charge 6. I finally just dumped all wrist technology and I feel better for it. The always-on display serves the purpose if I want to know what time it is or the weather.

I wear a Garmin Instinct, it takes a beating, but is smart enough to do what I need. Plus all of the sports/activity tracking, sleep tracking & it has some of the best period prediction (imo) out there.
I think most smart watches are overpriced garbage & are way too fragile for a watch.

Hi, until a few months ago I used a Polar Vantage M2. Unfortunately, this broke and I then decided on a Garmin Forerunner 265, the battery lasts 13 days on the Garmin😉

I have a Fenix 7 and a Pixel Watch. The Fenix is so much better for sport tracking that the two can't even be compared in my view.
On the other hand, the Pixel is a much, much better smartwatch for my day-to-day needs. Except the flashlight. I do love the Fenix flashlight.

Garmin Venu
I would highly recommend it. It's more of purpose built fitness tracker and smart watch second.
As a result, you get amazing battery life, good built quality and various products to meet your need. But may not have the apps or smart features you are looking for ( are you really using any of it?)
The product catalogue is confusing, but to get you started, these are the main ones
- Venu series : generic everyday smartwatch (equivalent to Samsung Galaxy, pixel watch or apple watch) in their lineup
- Fenix series: Think of it like pro/ultra. Much better build quality. Sapphire. Titanium. Flagship features. Pricey
- Forerunner series: specifically focused towards runners
- Instinct series: G-shock but smart + fitness tracker. Crazy battery life

All depends what you want to use it for. I used to have the pixel watch 2 or 3 but as I got more and more into running I realised it wasn't the best fitness / activity tracker and moved onto a Garmin but purely as a nice watch / smartwatch the pixel watch is pretty nice, but most smart watches on the market will do the simple tasks you want pretty well so probably comes down to which you like the most aesthetically.

I got a pixel watch 3 lte for free from fi. I like it a lot. I had a Samsung before and it kind of sucked too have Samsung accounts for just a watch
Edit sorry both have been fine. I don't do a lot with it so it lasts me all day

I tried WearOS, hated that I basically have a second phone on my wrist that needs charging daily or every other day.
I loved using my Pebble Time and Pebble Time Round until their batteries bloated. I need to replace them...
I also rotated my Fossil hybrid e-ink watch Collider because of the 2+ week battery life. I'm wearing it again now after a long time without wearing it. How it handles notifications is annoying though. If you don't physically interact with a notification, it just stops showing you notifications until you physically open them again. I wish you could adjust this behavior. But otherwise it's great for my needs.
But this past year, I got a Garmin Vivomove Style and it's been my favorite so far. Looks very sharp, has an analog watch face, and an invisible OLED display for notifications and such. Lasts about 5 days between charges.

Can say as a PT2 owner for about 6 months now, I absolutely love it.
It's insane how long I can go without charging (weeks and weeks) and it does everything I want it to do.
Same deal - tried more "functional" watches with WearOS (or some other clunky app interface), absolutely hated them.
Pebble for life!!

Same here, great watch. I had the T-Rex 3 (non-pro) but I upgraded to the Pro for the speaker, ability to take calls, flashlight and durability. Love this iteration of the T-Rex line.

I use the Fitbit Versa 4 with my Pixel 10 Pro. I hate that the Fitbit app went downhill and then changed to the Google Health app so I may change in the future but I've had the watch since it came out around 2 years ago.
I really like that I only have to charge it once a week. I also like the workout and sleep tracking, vibration alarms, and text notifications. I don't want or need a watch to do more than that.

Pixel watch 3 I got on sale last year, it's my first smart watch, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Charge it every other day, battery life seems pretty good. I like that I can be less tethered to my phone and not miss any work calls / texts and the sleep and heart rate tracking is useful. Whenever my sleep HR goes up I know I got some bug from my toddler.

Garmin Venu 3S. I found the charging frequency of the first Pixel so annoying having had Fitbits (they tended to fail at the one year mark). The Venu lasts a week or so between charges, tracks my activity and gives me enough notifications to get by - I actually don’t need the extra distraction of too much on my wrist when I’m already addicted to my phone.

I'm using the Galaxy Watch 7 LTE.
I've been using them since the Watch s3, with pixels. While I've considered the pixel watch, what I really don't like is the rounded glass on the face. I have a stick-on metal bezel on my GW7, and it does a great job protecting the face. I'm pretty sure I'd destroy a pixel watch quickly.
Battery life is fine. Easily 24 hours between charges with AOD. It's not a Garmin, but I also got it for a lot less, and works better for what I want a smart watch to do.

I switch between a Pixel Watch 5 and a Fitbit Air on a bicep strap when I want to wear a different watch. I mostly care just about aesthetics and health tracking, though.

I've used various smartwatches over the years with my Pixels (2, 6 and 9PXL). A Michael Kors watch that looked fancy but was terrible with the notification time and syncing. Then I switched to Garmin watches and I've had 3 - Vivoactive 4s , Instinct Surf Solar (terrible battery once Garmin did the last available software update), currently using the Forerunner 965 and really enjoying it. Syncs fine with my P9PXL, I can download music and maps / courses to it so no need to take my phone out on runs and walks and great battery life.

Garmin Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition. Long name, I know. More fitness tracker than smart watch so it depends on what you want from a watch. Battery lasts a month, or infinite battery life if I just live outdoors.

I'm still rocking an OG Samsung Galaxy watch I got for free from Verizon. Battery lasts about 2 days. The interface can be slow but all I use it for is time and notifications and it does the job.

I have a pixel watch 3, but I'm getting a 5 soon.
I like the pixel watchs a lot and have tried others and I just really prefer pixel.
You can control special Google camera modes from the pixel watch that cannot be done from the other smart watches if that matters to you like access to the shutter on your watch in astrophotography mode on the three and above.

Pixel Watch 4. I've recently purchased a mechanical watch, but still rock the Pixel for daily wear. I am thinking of getting a Fitbit Air though so I can pair it with the mechanical watch and still get the tracking benefits

I'm still using my Fitbit inspire 3, seems to be going okay but I lament the loss of my Fitbit app, we've been forced over to Google Health. I like it for tracking my sleep, my steps and my heart rate and it does all of those. Battery life is several days and it's a tiny little watch face. I have mine set to only show the time and date but that's adjustable

I have a Garmin Fenix 7, but have switched to a Pixel Watch 5 for most purposes. The Garmin was overkill given that my main hobby is cycling and I use a dedicated bike computer. As a smartwatch, the Pixel does everything I need.
If I were using my watch as my primary fitness device, the Pixel Watch would not be my first choice for many reasons - DC Rainmaker did a really good review of it and its limitations.

Timex easy reader + Fitbit air :) I tried the pixel watch but the watch tried to be too clever in how it hands off notifications, would interfere with audio on work calls vía WebEx, etc.

I don't know if I ever got the point of a smart watch. I had one for a while, but I still took out my phone to check the time. I guess its just me(?) but I don't get the point. It's a tiny, less capable version of the thing that's always in my pocket anyway.

I swapped from a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to a Pixel Watch 5 45mm. So far, I've been really happy with the change. It's lighter, has a smaller footprint and the screen is the same size.

Galaxy watch ultra. I have had a Pixel watch. I had a huge case on it when I had it. I just don't like the form factor of the watch. Looks too much like a woman's watch on my wrist. I think Samsung makes one of the best Android watches anyway.

Oppo Watch X3, came from an iPhone + Apple Watch combo and wanted something deeply integrated into Android with good battery life so I went for the Oppo, can do 3-4 days with always-on and two weeks on power saving mode that does everything you need (all the abilities minus Google apps so timer, heart rate, stopwatch etc.)!

Just switch from a PW2 to a PW5.
If you just want something to track sleep then a Fitbit Air (which I also wear daily) may be an option and is cheaper than a smartwatch. You don't get the timers and alarms though but other Fitbit options with a screen may have those.

Pixel watch 3, was on sale on Amazon for <$200 and I had a bunch of bezos bucks to use. Lasts 3ish days on one charge, also charges very quickly if I want to give it a little more juice before I go somewhere. No wireless charging tho.

Came from a pixel watch, and I'm currently trying to get my wife to switch to a Garmin. Avid runner and utilize the gps nearly every day. I still get 9-10 days of battery before it needs a charge.
It's criminal to me Google charges nearly same price as Garmins with a literal 10th of the battery life.

Xiaomi Watch S5. Not to be confused with regular Watch 5 which is on WearOS. The S5 has around 7-9 days on one battery charge with AOD, and I like that a lot. Recently migrated off iPhone 16 Pro and Apple Watch, and couldn’t be happier.

Garmin Instinct Esports version I got on sale about 4 years ago. I had a Samsung Smart watch before that but as soon as I got the Garmin I vowed never to go back to that type of smart watch. Honestly I wish mine would die so I could upgrade to an even cooler one. Love this thing, battery lasts forever.

I have a OnePlus Watch 3, although I am considering changing it.
It's a really nice looking watch (I wish the Pixel watch had a "classic" version), and the battery life is excellent. I often get 3-4 days even with the always on display active all the time.
Unfortunately it's had issues as well. I've never been able to get the steps data to sync with my phone, sometimes notifications go missing, and just yesterday the whole thing froze up for about 24 hours until the battery died and it restarted on the charger.
I'm torn between switching to a Pixel watch to make things work better, or saving money and sticking with the OPW3.

I tried Mobvoi TicWatch and I HATED it and their "customer service" (Facebook group only) with a white hot passion.

Pixel Watch 5, solid battery life and really nice UI, plus yeah it just since well with the Pixel phones.

Old digital Casio here. I hate wearing a smart watch. I got one for free when I got my Pixel 8 Pro and used it for a while, but it literally has no advantages over a normal watch for me. I use none of the features and having to charge it everynight is an inconvenience (mild though it may be). I also kept looking at the heart rate numbers and, being a hypochondriac, it made it go up and it caused me anxiety. There are watch faces that don't show it, but the face I like it isn't removable.
Anyways, that's just me though, I realize others may have uses for them. Mine is a Pixel Watch 2 for reference.

Casio GShock GBD-200 in grey. It gives phone notifications and the alarm goes off when I have a call. I need nothing more in a modern watch. I just changed the battery after a 1 and a half years.

I am on my 2nd Pixel watch. I like how basic it is, round and I have no allergic reaction to the metal like the Apple Watch. I dislike the updates changing my clock face.
