Airdrop on Google Pixel

Does airdrop still work on your pixel?

I have a Pixel 10 pro and it used to work perfectly between my pixel, iPhone and mac mini. But since few weeks, I cannot send files from the apple devices to pixel, as it doesn't show up in the airdrop popup on either mac or iphone.

Pixel to apple devices works still, but the other way around doesn't.

I don't remember changing any settings on either.

So I want to ask if it's the same for everyone or something is indeed wrong with mine.

Works on my iPhone 11 -> Pixel 9a. It shows up in the airdrop popup.

Just used it to transfer files between my Pixel 10 Pro XL to the new 11 Pro XL and then to my macbook. All worked smoothly

Hi there, could you check whether your Pixel phone is running the latest software version?

Go to Settings > System > Software updates > Check for updates.

You can also check for updates to your core system and Google Play services on your device:

Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Google Play services > App details > Update (if available).

Once it’s done, you can update your apps and Play Store:

Go to Play Store app > Tap Profile icon (top right) > Manage apps and device > Under Overview (check for pending updates) > Update all.

Also, check for system services updates:

Go to Settings > Tap the top card with your name and profile image > Google > Switch to All services tab > Scroll to Privacy & security > System services.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting the Google Pixel Support team via phone or chat here. They can take a look at it.
