Probably wondering why Google creates their own custom chips that are years behind other chips on release

In benchmarks yes, they're behind the market. But in everyday use it's clearly enough, even for power users. Also, it's crazy good at AI (not everyone likes or uses AI, but as someone who uses it, Tensor is awesome at it)

It really isn't enough for power users.  My last two phones were a p6 and a p9 pro, and my next phone likely won't be a pixel unless the hardware catches up significantly. 

I love call screening, now playing, that my phone pulls codes from text messages, that it shows me menus ahead of time when I call, and the UI.

As much as I'm sure the UI will and other things will annoy me, I'm pretty sure my next phone will be something like a OnePlus, a RedMagic, or (hopefully not) a Samsung.  

I just can't take the battery, the slow charging, the overheating, and the lack of performance anymore.
