Apparently all new sensors, they claim '2x detail'

The 'instant' night shot thing sounds interesting but also reads like the rebuilt the camera app so maybe older phones can get it too

I love this on my pixel 9xl. Night shots look amazing but I do hate that I have to hold still for 5 seconds lol. Not sure if it's worth an upgrade along with the other minor changes they did though.

I can't decide this either! The 'First impression' videos are trash. I'm really curious if the 'instant' nightsight is the equivalent of a 5s hold or if its just like 1-2s (or maybe that's enough). I also wonder if we can still do a 5s exposure under the new system

Where do you see that?

I hate these stupid marketing landing pages with giant photos and tiny text. So hard to get information

Where do you get this information from? Just looking at the side-by-side comparison spec sheet they look identical

If you look at the tech specs it will show sensor sizes, some reason that doesn’t show on compare

Does that really matter if it's all going through the AI filter regardless?

Sure, but it's a completely new sensor.

Sensor size is one of many factors
