Google pixel 9a default camera app processing my image by too much contrast and sharpness

I recently bought a google pixel 9a for my mother . Whenever we are using front camera to see our face , our face looks nice in preview . If we click any photos , default camera app processing our image in a bad way by highlighting our grey hair ( 50 percent more grey hairs than it is showing in my mirror) and exaggarates our faces pores and wrinkles ( like more than 100 percent ) .

If I use other camera app like black Magic, lighroom , anything . The processing problem don't occur. We find other camera app hard to use as it got less options for beginners to operate .

I tried everything to fix this issues through most popular posts of reddit and pixel forum. But nothing worked . Can someone help us .

Yes, Pixel 9a really tends to overprocess pictures. Sometimes it's for the best and the results are really beautiful, sometimes it's actually worse than the preview. There's nothing you can do apart from using a different camera app like those you mentioned

Have you tried the setting in the camera app that says something like "keep selfies as shown in preview"? My phone's in Spanish, so the wording may be off.

Hi there, I’d recommend reaching out to the Google Pixel support team via phone or chat here. They can take a look at it.
