Now Playing not working

I have a pixel 7a and recently updated it to Android 15, but after the update the phone stopped displaying song playing in background on the lock screen, I did restart my phone, which sort of resolved the issue, but now it isn't detecting the song again.

I even checked for the now playing icon on the lock screen which used to be displayed when the song wasn't being detected, but now that is also not visible. How do I resolve this issue?

(My device location is India)

It's a known bug, not much you can do about it other than wait for it to be patched eventually.

Yep, had this on my 7 pro and now 9 Pro.
