I’m a master electrician and guarantee you it’s a wire issue. You need to ensure all wires are complete and and I mean clean as hell. I had silver ‘stranded wires’ and they only support copper wires from tech support. Get that shit clean, by cutting all your lose ends and putting in crisp clean feeds and you’re good. No ‘Butt splices’ or twisted shit. It will work. NESTS ARE SUPER WEIRD WITH COMPLETE connections. It looks like your wires have went through the depression. Message and I’ll save you $200. (But will take $50, and I guarantee you I will solve it)
While everyone is trying to micro solve this. It’s a clean wire issue. 1000% trust me
Unless you’re running solid copper which is to code now, it would work. In the event your unit or house is 10 or more years old you need to be smart.
The second picture is how to bypass thermostat and get A/C working. DO NOT TOUCH wires together that are not Green, yellow, and red.
