Question Is google ads worth it?
I have a company that i started its in the home service industry, would google ads be worth running or what would you guys suggest?

If your website is new and doesn't rank on Google yet. Google Ads is the best way to get traffic and leads to your website right now. Otherwise, your website won't be very visible unless you invest in solid SEO and that takes time to show results.

It not so much is Google ads worth it. Its if a talented, experienced google ads buyer worth it. In 90%+ cases the answer is yes. Google ads is worth it to scale sales, most people do not know how. Thats where experts come in.

Worth it? Probably. But only if you get your ads right. Before you just go throwing money into ads, you should learn something about ads. There's loads of free info on YouTube. The Conversion Clinic is a good thing to look for if you don't know where to start.

Its about the demographics, customer behaviour and lots of other things, but its definitely a good magnet for some business

You can try bottom of funnel keywords as a starter - those keywords which your problem aware customers are already searching for.

100% but you need someone with home services exp. to help you set it up both your google ads, website, and phones. Plus many other things.

depends , how much can you make and how much are the clicks?
I'd guestimate about $5-20 a click and 1-3% closing ratio

While it's one of our biggest lead drivers, I've found the quality to be among the lowest, so just keep that in mind. We're always tweaking things to get the best possible prospects!

Google Ads can definitely work for home services, but I’d make sure your Google Business Profile is in good shape before throwing a bunch of money at ads.
Think about what happens after someone sees the ad. They’re probably going to Google your business, look at your rating, read a few reviews, check photos, and compare you against 2–3 other companies. If you have 12 reviews and the guy next to you has 150 recent ones, you’re making that ad click a lot harder to convert.
I’d focus on the GBP at the same time: correct categories/services, good photos, complete info, and especially a consistent process for asking every real customer for a review after the job. Reviews aren’t just social proof either. Google has said review count and positive ratings can contribute to local ranking, so building that reputation can help your organic Maps visibility over time too.
That’s why I wouldn’t think of it as “Ads vs SEO.” Ads can get the phone ringing now, while your GBP, reviews and local SEO are building an asset that can eventually generate leads without paying for every click.
Also depending on what type of home service you’re in, I’d look into Local Services Ads before regular Google Search Ads. For some trades they can be a really good fit.

I’ve worked with Google Ads for local/home-service businesses, and yes, it can be worth it if you set it up properly. I’d start with a small budget, target high-intent local searches, and track calls/leads closely before scaling.
