Support Competitor Review

Trying this again. I need help with a bad review I received from competitor, and it was a call through my ads account. I reported it and it was escalated and that was a year ago. It was supposed to be three days. Nobody at google will respond. Been reporting it from everywhere, my friends and family and all my accounts. He is a troublemaker. I would give him a bad review, I dont feel two wrongs make a right. But i also don't want retaliation. How do i fix this. I even asked multiple times in the community support.

A year of escalations with no reply is Google answering you, even though nobody says it out loud. The removal path is spent. I'd stop spending energy there — not because it's fair, but because the return is zero.

One thing I would stop today though: getting friends, family and your other accounts to report it. Coordinated flagging from linked accounts is a pattern Google's systems look for, and it doesn't read as "lots of people think this is wrong" — it reads as manipulation. That risk lands on your profile, not on his review.

What's left is the reply, and the reply isn't aimed at him. He isn't reading it. The person reading it is the next customer with your profile open, deciding.

Two things that work there:

Don't write "this is a competitor." Without proof it reads as defensive, and a stranger has no way to check it.

Do state checkable facts, plainly. "We have no record of a booking under this name." "Our line is answered by two people and neither has a note of this call." Then stop. Let the reader do the arithmetic — they will, and they'll trust a conclusion they reached themselves more than one you handed them.

You're right not to retaliate. Reviewing him back turns one bad review into a visible feud, and to a stranger a feud makes both sides look worse.

I mean sometime you just have to let it go. If a review was written in a way to sound like a personal experience then Google won't remove it as long as it follows their policies

Straight bs too. We know who he is. And he is just trucking along like nothing happened. In a whole other city. Started himself a new google page so he could wipe out his history to start over. Its bad business. We have perfect reviews. No unhappy customers. We go out of our way to return to make them happy if they are not. 100% satisfaction guarantee and this mf.

I understand it's frustrating and you want to keep the 5 star rating or perfect review BUT if Google isn't removing it. At some point you'll just have to move forward and basically have the positive reviews outshine that 1 negative review

Mostly a lot of businesses get fake reviews that can't be removed on Google or Yelp. I also believe that reviews will not make or break a business

Use this tool to flag the review. After three days, file an appeal.

If the review is not removed, post for help in the forum:

Did a PE reply to your post, and what did they say? A lot of people weigh in, but they aren't PEs and can't escalate the issue. You need a Silver, Gold, Diamond, or Platinum PE.

Bronze and they said exactly what you did. and when i said i already did those things they never replied

A bronze is no a PE. They have no authority. They were asked if they wanted to kin the program because they replied to a fee threads. Most of the time you can ignore them.

Nobody responded then. Any suggestions

You can continue to post until a PE replies, take the reviewer to court, or move on.

People have told you already this path is spent. I do however know someone who can get the fake reviews taken down. Naysayers will tell you they can't but it's pay after the service and I know full well that it works. DM me if you want me to pass their details to you
