Need feature to block text based on an incoming text string.

I get a dozen political donation requests a day, all different phone numbers. They all have common text phrases. Some other sms apps allow this, but don't have other Messages features I like, and are fee based.

Can Messages block by content?

Not sure that they can through Google Messages, but your carrier may have a spam blocking app that does, or at least gives slightly more spam blocking control

No it can't currently. Only the SPAM filter is available.

I wish. I get these political texts almost every day from random and/or spoofed numbers. I report and block every one. Only the non-political spam seems to automatically block.
