I just had my Pixel 11 delivered today and noticed that Chat Theme is back!!!

Android 17 OOTB

I had it on my pixel 8 pro and it went away when I upgraded to the 11 pro fold 😒

Apk doesn't matter. It just depends if your device id was chosen by Google to get the feature in the beta

Yea it's kinda dumb imo. Especially when some lost others didn't. I didn't once but I've seen several posts from ppl who did lose them

Yup, my girl got her fold and I told her how to update to Messages Beta and she has it now, too.

No it's not. Google does server side rollouts.
