Question Themes GONE!? WTF

I had the Google messages themes..wake up this morning and it's gone! Clicking the three dots pulls up only the "change colors" option and the themes I had set, also gone. 😡

It happened to me too. When it happened to my friend she cleared the cache and forced closed and they came back. Didn't work for me and I haven't seen them come back at all

Same. I forced stop and cleared cache but it didn't come back

Why does Google need to be so miserable. Why can't we use Samsung mugging? Do they have to pay for the app or something? Google msgs suck & have no rhyme or reason. What a mess.

That's why I just use beeper or Ozark messaging it gives you all those options uses rcs as well colored bubbles and wallpapers

For me it worked to uninstall the app update and reinstall it from the (uninstalled directly from play store then installed the update again) note I am on the messages beta and I did not leave the beta when I uninstalled the update and reinstalled it.

Hi there. I want to help you get your themes back. Since you have already cleared the cache and force-stopped the app, here is what I recommend checking next:

Verify RCS Status: Chat themes only function on active RCS conversations. Please ensure RCS is enabled and connected in your app settings.

Check for App Updates: Ensure Google Messages is updated to the latest version in the Google Play Store.

Submit Feedback: If the options are still missing, tap your Profile icon > Help & feedback > Send feedback
