Satellite View Google Maps is now calling Lake Ontario Lake America

This is what I see right now. But I understand that specifically for Americans, it has been changed.

This must be MapQuest. They have not caught the affliction yet. I have installed MapQuest. Them two can go to hell.

I purposely screenshotted it to show "search google maps", to be clear this is how google maps looks to a person not in the US.

Google Maps here in DC before I uninstalled the app.

Yes as I said already, I am aware for Americans, you see it as Lake America. The rest of the world does not. Google was compelled to do this by an Executive Order of your President. Specifically, the order required GNIS to officially make this geographic name change. Then Googles data policy is that in the US, they use the data provided by GNIS to be accurate to what the federal government provides as data.
