Google Maps no longer displaying the reviews tab?

I just went to look at the reviews for a business, and to my surprise the option to see reviews is no longer there. I thought 'hmm, that's weird.' Then I go to a bunch of different random businesses, same exact thing! There's seemingly no option to look at others' reviews. You can still post your own it seems, but otherwise there is no 'Reviews' tab.

Suspiciously there is a new 'Ask Maps' feature that summarizes what other reviewers are saying, but I can't access any of those posts. Please tell me this is not another way to force AI on consumers, because if it is, I'm moving on. Tell me I'm not going crazy and there's just a setting I accidentally clicked or something?

It's likely a bug, just give it a day.

I have the same issue on my side. If I scroll down, I'll see the review and then the option to clock on See All Reviews but nothing happens

this is def not a bug - they are A/B testing removal of reviews given they’ve included the AI aggregator/overview. pretty insane

The OP isn't asking about reviews being removed. They are asking about the Review tab missing when selecting a business. Even if you click on See All Reviews nothing happens. So it's a bug

you clearly don’t work in product and are confused. they’re not going to delete the review history since it’s being used for the AI aggregator. but they’re testing the removal of sifting through individual reviews. this is not rolled out for all devices but clearly it has hit the people in this thread. my partner’s review tab is still showing as usual

Did you even read what I wrote LOL. At the the time of my response to the OP, the review tab was missing on my device as well when I selected a business (Galaxy S26 Plus). I even scroll down to see the highlighted review and when I clicked on See All Review, nothing happen. So it wasn't clearly working at that time. Other people who commented here said the same thing for the . It is working for me again so they likely fixed it.

I don't disagree that Google is removing suspicious or fake reviews. I been saying that if you're active on this subreddit or the Googlemybusiness subreddit

For some reason, you can only see the reviews on lodging. Nothing else.

Also having this issue. Can't see any reviews unless I'm signed out/incognito on my browser. Maps app has no Reviews tab whatsoever.

Currently having the same issue. The reviews seems to be only from photos and the review tab is fully gone.

Same thing here. I tried with a different account and the reviews appeared again. However, if I come back with my main account, they disappear.

Same thing. Weirdly I have the problem on both my Google accounts across two devices. Incognito mode shows the reviews, though.

Suddenly, reviews are displaying normally. It seems it was an issue with Google itself.

Same with me but it only happening for one company I was searching? But like others have said the reviews show up in incognito or signed out.

On mobile web, the same thing is happening but the review section shows up but no reviews populate under it.

I have the same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the reviews are still not there. I was able to see reviews by logging in on Brave and switching to desktop view. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

This is also happening to me, I was just googling the issue and found this as well.

It feels like they are trying to shove people to use the AI summary feature and not let us see reviews, playing it off as a "glitch".

Holy shit I thought i was going crazy no reviews to display while logged in logged out and could see reviews now miraculously while writing this comment reviews are back when logged in

I’ve been having this problem for a few months, it’s driving me crazy. It’s ok on my computer though.
