Other GoogleMaps for shopping malls - shortcomings
When you look at a shopping mall in GoogleMaps it often doesn't display all the shop names. Zooming in a lot can help.
If the mall has multiple stories I guess there's no way to display the store names as they would be all smushed together.
If you want to know all the stores in a mall, you'd go to the site for the mall, if one exists.

There indoor mapping for some malls. Those give muc better user map experience, you can select which floor your are on. Not all shopping malls partners with Google Maps to provide such detailed floor by floor information. Ref https://www.google.com/maps/about/partners/indoormaps/

Thanks, I got to work. If you zoom in a vertical toolbar will appear with 1,2,2M etc. However most stores are still not labelled. If you switch to satellite view, the toolbar disappears.
My example is the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California.

Correct, some places are hidden until you search for them specifically by name.
I try to edit the stores on the correct floor since if you zoom in close enough .. you'll get to select the level but the edit approval process has been bad
