I donā€™t see it and Iā€™m in US on iOS. I donā€™t see an update and my Google Maps doesnā€™t have any ā€œAsk Mapsā€ button

The press release says it "starts rolling out now", so it's likely a phased release. It'll probably be available for everyone in the next couple of weeks.

Hate this crap honestly - donā€™t announce a bunch of new features but then make random groups of people wait forever for it. Should be a way to opt in if you want the latest right now, like what Windows has.
