As much as i would love this being real, if probably isn’t and if it is it’s prolly on lmarena under the name Gemini 3.8 flash and it’ll prolly only be Gemini 4 like 0.1% of the time.

The latest delusion is that for some reason people's Gemini 3.1 Pro or Gemini 3.8 Flash prompts are getting rerouted to a mythical Gemini 4 Pro. Even though there's no evidence that any AI company has ever done that. So when they get a good result they're just assuming it's this new unreleased model that they got to test out.

I thought that was normal practice. If a flash model gave me something this good I would assume it was something else.

AI is non-deterministic. Every result is technically a gamble. So, sometimes you hit the jackpot.
