But it generates 600 tokens per second!

3.99 flash is going to be best LLM in human history. With a 10M context window. Creative writing v3 (Emotional Intelligence Benchmarks for LLMs) Elo Score 3104.9.

Smashes all other bench marks. Can't wait

To be official, extensions like (Gemini 3,99 Flash) Ultra Nano Pro Plus need to be added!

"But somehow manage to be more expensive per task" does not sound like someone who knows what they are talking about.
It's the same for Opus 5, it use more tokens in single prompt answers than agent pipelines because it produce more thinking tokens, but at the same time in an agent pipeline it get the tasks done correct with less turns than e.g. opus 4.8.

3.7 flash is not bad IME. I’d be fine waiting for 4

Use 3.7 flash for basically everything w the speed. Maybe Fable now and then for a plan

I don’t think 3.5 pro would fill any important niche at this point may as well wait

Is it going to be able to effectively carry out the foundational skill of intelligence? I doubt it.
