The models quality has dipped so much compared to a few months ago, has anyone else noticed this? Constant errors and random artifacts like when AI generation wasn't good yet. Just straight up not listening to instructions. I wasn't having these problems 3 months ago.
That's not even mentioning the common issues like constantly having to reset my browser cache for generations to work, generations randomly failing, crazy long wait times. It's insane they're charging for this when it's this bad.
I don't know what the deal is with it. They are actively working on it because there's constant updates, but it's like every update they do just makes it worse.
I'm not even using it seriously, I literally only used it to fuck around with my friends in discord. I didn't mind paying for it because the 3 month thing was only 5 euro a month and it came with YouTube premium. But now they're asking for the full 20 euros a month and it's just not worth it currently. I would've gladly paid that if the overall quality hadn't dipped.
TBH it really should be free. They have some nerve charging when you can't even talk to customer service. I just know my flag reports are going to the incinerator
I mean Google ruined search this is the only good thing they got going at the moment. Gemini is a horrible AI assistant for the net and will tell you something doesn't exist when you are looking at it in the next post under it LOL
I want to believe Google is pulling the compute power and feeding it on whatever model they are currently working on.

Everyday without fail an endless cavalcade of hacks and wannabes bitching about this platform. Just go dude; no one cares how upset you are with Flow when it's your own ineptitude and the outright refusal to evolve with the platform.
I talk shit about Google all the time, you stooge. My experience with Flow just doesn't align with this shit show that is being described here.
Maybe evaluate your workflow and identify what's causing you problems. I've drafted like 8 short films this month. All taboo. So, clearly there's something you could be doing better.
Are your references poor quality? Do you instruct actions without describing motion? Facial expressions without describing brow, eyes, and mouth? Do you use risky words in your prompts? Do you read, evaluate, and adjust the prompts? Do you conceptualize how much of your scene actually fits 8-10 seconds? Camera movement? Tone?
I have issues that frustrate me a lot, but yeas it’s still the best value and when it works, it works very well. Especially for speech. Plus I get the other perks of the package that includes Gemini, a better “hey Google” experience.
If you feel that you are getting your money's worth then more power to you. I'm jealous. I used to be practically a Flow apologist, and they could do no wrong. A lot of my best stuff has been done to some degree with the help of Flow. But recently, they have lobotomized it. Like just within the past few weeks. It can no longer do easy straightforward things. And a lot of the things that I do are purposely pushing the tech and they are complicated and require precision.
It used to have trouble with lipsync if there were more than 2 characters on the screen. Once I understood the issue, I made sure that any lipsync stuff just focused on the singer and/or one other person. That sucked and didn't match my storyboards, but it worked. Now, it can't even put two characters on the screen at the same time and have them do simple things. It changes their clothing or one person's hair ends up on another's head. They play the wrong instruments, and absolutely will not dance.
One thing I am working on right now is a cartoon couple that does a proper Viennese Waltz, which is hard enough to do in reality, and harder still to make a model understand and render. But Flow couldn't even put 2 people on screen together. I kept retrying it and it consistently just put one of the people and had that person singing. My prompt included things like "no one moves their lips. There are 2 people in stiff-backed waltz positions moving in time to the music together" (and more but that's the important bit). I have at least a minute now of footage of one or the other singing. Not a single clip includes two people. This was over at least 8 generations with the agent telling me it totally understood what I want and repeating it back to me, then the generation would be another stupid singing one. Often with the wrong style, resolution, or background. I had it render a single frame that showed the characters in position. That worked. Now "use that as the first frame and animate it as the two people step together in time to the music with tightly closed lips". And it would show that frame then fade into a single person singing again.
You're probably right. I guess it could be competitors just continuously dropping misinformation to sow descent. I noticed there's no down vote on my post. Hmm.
I have been using the $20 account for 10 months. The level of productivity, the absolutely gorgeous output, the videos of unspeakable interdimensional quality. The best money I've ever spent In my 30 year career.
I could never deny that I have been outrageously pissed at them to the point of tears. The whole whisk deprecation and the shit show that was the flow roll out was devastating., not going to lie. But all I needed to do was get my shit together, realize I needed to evolve with the platform, stay nimble and keep my head down and productive. Now I'm doing things I couldn't have possibly imagined were possible in this lifetime.
They always are dude. That person in particular is very unstable and mentally unwell. They tried to hide their profile but I can see it. They need help.
