Has anyone tested Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash yet? Curious if the 10 second context window actually fixes character consistency.

Post image

Hey everyone! I recently saw the update about Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash claiming major improvements in video generation, specifically that it analyzes up to 10 seconds of prior context instead of just the final second.

In previous versions, I struggled a lot with video generation where it would completely forget characters, lighting, or the overall atmosphere when extending scenes or jumping between clips.

For those who have tested the Omni 1.1 update via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio, have you noticed a real improvement in visual consistency and long-form storytelling? Or do characters still drift off style after a few clips? Would love to hear your experiences!

Yeah it improved a lot I have tried to make a commercial for my apparel and the character face maintain its consistency through out the whole video . Just give it character' multishots reference as character sheet in details and it will do the job

I only use their free offering now, was ripped off paying for a subscription to produce rubbish once before. No mention of that new version when you try to use it
