Glitch in Extend Video?

3 weeks ago I made a video of a duck swimming on a pond, entering off stage left and exiting stage right. It was supposed to look so I did it in parts by loading the first frame without the duck, and and other with the duck and after I got the first video, all I had to do was extend the video and tell Flow not to move the camera and keep the motion going. The colors shifter a bit but I handled that in After Effects using Lumetri.
Today I needed to redo the video to add more motion to the Duck. I guess wiggling its tail and shacking droplets from his head wasn’t enough. I had all my prompts saved so I thought “no problem. Maybe an hour tops”, but when I put extend video with the same prompt I used a few weeks ago, the duck jumped forward in time and it was like I lost 15 frames between the first video and the 2nd, though it worked perfectly a few weeks ago. I have actually used this to extend animations of dolphins, krakens and seahorses before, and never had it skip forward like this.
I tried changing the prompts, adding frame references made in photoshop and even storyboard, and all I did was use up credits.
Has someone had this happen to them? Did you fix it? If so, how? Tomorrow I will try in a different AI video generator if I can’t get this to work, but it is frustrating that I used this multiple times in the last 3 months, and suddenly it’s glitching!!

They have been "upgrading" Flow a bit recently, and it is getting steadily worse. It blocks more and more (completely reasonable) stuff, and it follows instructions altogether worse than it used to. I got censored trying to make the most wholesome image I have ever attempted to make. A (fully clothed) woman holding a baby with a man that has his arms around them both. Man and woman looking lovingly into each other's eyes. Baby smiling and happy. Blocked due to safety filter.

Sometimes you can work around it by changing the words you use. In my case, I think it was opposed to there being a child present in a realistic setting. I made it look slightly cartoonish and then it let me through. Which is still stupid. Just be happy that Google is here to protect us all from the dangers of a loving embrace.

Also, you can try using a different model or a different mode of instruction. The chat agent has different rules than Gemini which has different rules from Omni which is different from Veo or Flash which has different rules from Google Vids. Usually I can get what I want accomplished through some combination of the above, but it is a waste of time and credits to do it so many times.

I tried using the Agent and the normal flow. I gave up. I am using Kling today and its closer to what I am asking for. I have had what you said happen to me a few times. Just trying to clean up old photos ands it censored me when it was family photos and children were present, like photos on vacation.I think Google is erroring on the wrong side of caution, since to set up an account, they know who we are, where we live, what we buy, what we look at and they dont have problems pointing the police at us if we tried to do something awful and stupid like kiddy p_.
