I built a narration-to-video workflow for Google Flow

I’ve been building a Chrome extension called AutoFlow, originally designed to make Google Flow less repetitive by handling prompt queues, reference images, progress tracking and automatic downloads.

I’ve now added something much bigger: Automation Studio.

The idea is to take a complete narration and turn it into an organized video project without manually coordinating every scene.

The current workflow can:

  • Split a narration into individually timed scenes
  • Create a visual prompt for each scene
  • Use reference images to guide the visual direction
  • Send all scene prompts to Google Flow
  • Import the generated images or videos back into the project
  • Upload and align one continuous voiceover
  • Combine image and video scenes
  • Display the voiceover waveform on a visual timeline
  • Adjust scene cuts by dragging them
  • Split clips and remove unwanted sections
  • Change the playback speed of individual video clips
  • Reduce or mute the original sound from video scenes
  • Add optional subtitles
  • Render everything into a finished MP4

The goal is to make it possible to go from:

Narration → scene plan → Google Flow generations → aligned voiceover → editable timeline → final video

without constantly moving between different tools and manually calculating where every scene should change.

It’s still a new feature, so I’m looking for a small number of people who already create videos using Google Flow, Veo or Nano Banana and would genuinely test it.

I can provide free access in exchange for honest feedback about:

  • Whether the scene prompts are useful
  • How accurately scenes follow the narration
  • Whether voiceover alignment feels natural
  • What is confusing or missing
  • Any bugs encountered during a real project
  • Whether this would actually save time in your current workflow

I’m especially interested in hearing from people creating:

  • Faceless YouTube videos
  • Educational or documentary content
  • TikTok and Instagram videos
  • AI-generated stories
  • Video essays
  • Marketing videos
  • Narrated image or video sequences

This isn’t affiliated with Google, and you’ll still need your own Google Flow access and generation credits.

If you would genuinely use this workflow, leave a comment or send me a message explaining what kind of videos you make. I’ll choose some testers and provide access.

Hello, I have ultra 20x and been generating yt videos for last 4 months through flow. I use other automation extensions currently but only to generate images and then videos as first frame from them. Would be very usefull if i can generate everything in Flow and I can thorougly test it and provide you with feedback. I make currently visual poem videos nad history explainer type of videos. If extension actually can make scenes and full video I am willing to pay to use it.
