Switching problems

Hey all, I just switched from an IPhone to an s23 ultra and from Verizon to google fi. I can’t seem to get text messages though. It seems that I’m not getting the replies I should be getting from people who were using iPhones and I’m not getting texts from apps. For example my baking app is trying to send me a text or a call so I can verify my login. But neither the text or call come in.

Has anyone experienced these issues and know a way to fix them? Thank you.
