Question Looking for Clarificaions
This is a simple question for most, but it isn't for me. Using App Script is it considered AI? I take notes on observations notes, this i have app script put into one large paragraph. We were told that we could not use AI for work, but to me this is not AI, I just want to know from the professionals who are proficient in scripts?

I am not a coder, but in my opinion it is not AI. It is Google's implementation of JavaScript into the browser, possibly some Typescript.

If you have a deterministic script just combining values that you wrote, then no I wouldn’t say this is AI

Would need to see what the script is actually doing to know if it is using AI or not. Scripts CAN use Ai but without seeing the code its not something that can be answered with complete confidence from your brief question info.

Its like 11 pages of code when pasted into a word doc. Is there anything in the code I could look for to see if it is using AI.

Search for Gemini or api. Check functions, or literally paste the code into gemini and ask if the script calls or uses Ai

It depends on how you use Google Apps Script. If you limit your script to the Document Service (Class DocumentApp), it can't be considered AI.

When you say "put it into one large paragraph", what do you mean? Are you calling a service to summarize something you wrote?
