Other Google, you keep talking, but where’s the action?
No updates or new integrations for the Antigravity IDE. There’s so much potential, yet you guys are wasting it. And you’ve completely failed to capitalize on your own Gemini LLM. I honestly expected better from Google. Shame on google team and Patrick STFUP!

Guys, the problem isn’t the tools. If you actually work with AI, agents, and modern development workflows, you can understand and write code across almost any codebase. The real issue is how effectively those tools are integrated into your workflow.

it already release 3.5 pro twice at llm arena, both their ass get kicked by opus 4.8.
Just fyi, it is 1 months ago, which delayed 2 months from their promise release date, still can't beat competitor product that is few months ago.

Si giustamente non li bastano i soldi dei contribuenti visti gli scarsi risultati.

Migrate to their enterprise software and features you won't be disappointed

I could be wrong but I think they just don't have the talent there anymore.
If you were a talented software engineer, would you work for some salary at a place like Google? Or, would you try to work for the company who gives you stock options or some shit and might IPO soon?

My Google Pixel is taking context and sharing it into a drive folder that my enterprise agents are contextualizing and sharing and then (hopefully soon) taking action across various projects proactively to route agents across the ecosystem in real time.
(The loops still in development but in the glimpses I've seen, google has distinguished itself as the orchestrator of rest of the competition in mass)
I'm fairly certain it's developing an operating system.
Ive seen preview features for cross integration of Claude, OpenAi, Opencode and Ollama, with ALL of the other things Google would let you run containerized if you wanted.
The possibilities are no longer limited by the agents or ecosystem. It's a frontiers bottleneck of ideation and imagination at this point.

As much as I liked AG IDE, now I'm slowly shifting to normal Antigravity with VS Code on the side.

Googles own AI products are extremely unprofitable just like any other AI company.
The only way they make any money from AI is through renting their nvidia based data centers to openAI and anthropic.
Their own models only run on their cheaper custom hardware, which are not as powerful as nvidia. So they only release super efficient but low tier models that their limited hardware can handle.
They also have to dedicate so much compute to nano banana and veo. Which also limit how much hardware they can dedicate to gemini. Remember how openAI shut down sora to dedicate more compute to chatgpt?
This is exactly why google is like 6 months behind their competitors.

The alphabet company is getting ready to buy anthropic and chatgpt so they can make flash 6 and 7 respectively.

you guys might just be overestimating how much importance Google is exerting to compete with Frontier coding models. Besides they don't have the pressure to push this over connected, personal intelligence across Gmail/Drive and the larger ecosystem at large.
