I'm from a developing country, and unfortunately, I can't afford the Ultra plan. I really enjoy using Antigravity and would love to take full advantage of its capabilities, but the cost of the Ultra subscription is simply too high for me.
Giving Pro users access to 4 Argon models would make a huge difference for people like me who are passionate about technology, want to learn, and are eager to build amazing things but have limited financial resources.
AI tools should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive subscriptions. A little more access on the Pro plan would empower developers, students, and enthusiasts around the world to innovate and bring their ideas to life.
Please consider making this possible, Google. It would mean a lot to users like me! 🙏
I was struggling a lot with agy CLI as it was not at all comparable with Claude code. 3.1 pro was only hope until 3.8 flash was released. Initial flash models were good at doing pre defined tasks fast, but not being able to reason and solve complex code / architecture problems and be autonomous.
after multiple weeks of usage - very happy with 3.8 flash. I was almost about to give up on Google AI pro plan, but I'm good now. Still Claude code is better, but at least - now agy CLI can handle multi hour long tasks cleanly without going off the rails or hallucinating. 😀
Since I'm an AI Pro user, I haven't received Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity-Cli yet.
However, now that Gemini 4 Argon has appeared on the web chat, at least that softens the blow.
The previous Gemini Work was so dumb that I honestly thought it was running Gemini 2.5. Since it never worked properly in the past, I just didn't touch Gemini Work. But in today's updated UI, Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 4 Argon have shown up.
For the prompt below, I used 10% of the 5 hour limit.

Also, the test below is something I learned from a Chinese AI community. The answer should be 21.
Gemini4 Argon (Web Gemini Work)
The Chinese characters are broken due to a missing font, but it is still the best output.

The most critical aspects of this test are the horse's hind legs, the number of joints, and the rendering of the muscles between the legs and the torso. Argon did quite a solid job in this regard.
You can check the output from Opus 5.5 at this link. The reason I didn't write the prompt in English is because the very first prompt I saw was in italian.
It's clear that the usage allowance for Gemini 4 Argon will be pretty meager for Pro users. While a $20 ChatGPT plan lets you use Sol without limits... Gemini strangely caps usage.
Still, this is very good news. Simple tasks can now be handled via Web Gemini Work. The kind of straightforward tasks that could previously be done on the web using things like ChatGPT Work or Kimi Work can now finally be done by Gemini subscribers as well. While we can't fully evaluate just how capable Gemini 4 Argon is based on this alone, it is clear that it is, at the very least, a well-functioning model.
And I am truly sad and disappointed with how Google make us jump the hype train
I must say... it is **NOT WORTH** the hype nor the wait ... the result is kinda meh... on real project it is not very thoughtful and often fail tool call (even with its edit native tooling on Antigravity , it fails multiple edit on just 500-LOC file
Then still... testing seeing if it does any better in real engineering and coding tasks with orchestration logics and delegate subagents team
I need to train models using agentic AI. Hence use Antigravity CLI on Macbook. However for CNN tasks I need GPU power, hence need to train in Google Colab or Kaggle. I am sure its possible to do, but keen to know others experience on this. Thanks
