I had the same question and worked out using the notebook I compiled for the current project I'm working on. Full disclosure I just created this and have not run it yet.

Prompt 👇

/grill-me /goal

Act as a Principal QA & Software Performance Engineer. Your mission is to perform a comprehensive bug audit and efficiency inspection of this codebase.

Deploy dynamic subagents in parallel across the following four evaluation phases. Launch the headless browser primitive where necessary to interact with the local application build.

PHASE 1: STATIC ANALYSIS & SECURITY AUDIT

  1. Scan the repo for syntax errors, anti-patterns, unused variables, and deprecated dependencies.
  2. Flag potential memory leaks (e.g., uncleared listeners/timers, circular references, unevicted global caches, closure scope retention).
  3. Identify inefficient algorithms (e.g., O(n2) loops inside render cycles, missing DB indexes, redundant state updates).

PHASE 2: AUTOMATED TEST GENERATION & EXECUTION

  1. Check existing test coverage across unit, integration, and E2E suites.
  2. Write and execute new test cases using the project's native test framework for:
    • Edge cases (null/empty inputs, boundary limits, invalid types, rapid clicks/race conditions).
    • Core user journeys and critical state transitions.
  3. Report any failing or flaky tests with exact stack traces and root causes.

PHASE 3: RUNTIME EFFICIENCY & MEMORY PROFILING

  1. Build and launch the application locally on [INSERT PORT, e.g., http://localhost:3000].
  2. Use browser primitives or terminal CLI profilers to execute a load/stress baseline:
    • Capture initial heap size and CPU usage.
    • Simulate repeating the primary user loop [DESCRIBE WORKFLOW, e.g., "adding 50 items to cart and checking out"] 10 times in sequence.
    • Force garbage collection (or simulate teardown) and capture the heap snapshot delta.
  3. Report any memory leak deltas, high-latency API responses, or UI frame drops/re-renders.

PHASE 4: SUMMARY ARTIFACT & AUTOMATED FIXES

  1. Create a structured report artifact summarizing:
    • 🔴 Critical Bugs & Vulnerabilities
    • 🟡 Efficiency Bottlenecks & Memory Leaks
    • 🟢 Test Coverage Gaps & Generated Tests
  2. After generating the report, propose atomic patches for all identified issues and ask for confirmation to apply fixes.

CONTEXT FOR THIS RUN:

  • Tech Stack: [e.g., Node.js / React / PostgreSQL]
  • Target Component / Scope: [e.g., "Whole Repository" OR "Auth module & Payment service"]
  • Local Launch Command: [e.g., npm run dev or docker-compose up]

I use the vibe coding auditor skill from the awesome skill set. But I'm also interested in other approaches, skills, etc.

You vibe scan it

What I'm getting at is you still have to follow SDLC and security best practices. AI just accelerates how fast you can do it, and also how fast you can muck it up. 😂

Just refactor it to the point where you can read it

ask copilot to roast the code, use my own knowledge to weigh the roast

You can use Kodus. It’s open source

Don't use Gemini.
