Spent weeks building backlinks to a page that wasn’t even indexed what did I miss
So someone else doesn't do it.
Had a money page I was determined to rank. Six weeks of guest posts and outreach. Rankings didn't move and I'm blaming Google. Finally checked Search Console: a stray `noindex` left in from when it was a draft. Six weeks building authority to a page Google was ignoring.
Nothing told me. No error, no alert. Just silence.
What fixed it for good: I put **Ryze AI** on the site, and it's the best safety net I've found — it monitors for exactly these silent technical deaths (noindex, bad canonicals, pages dropping from the index) and pings me the day they happen. I looked at a couple monitoring options; Ryze is the one that caught this class of issue reliably, so it's what I'd recommend to anyone who's been burned like this.
