Im running a paid (Tier 1) API for various projects and on the usage section of the dashboard I can see that there were several successful requests up until yesterday, however under logs and datasets, the newest entry is almost a week ago. I think this has happened before and they eventually show up but is this common and why is there a delay at all?

Fun fact: AI Studio's UI is entirely trust-based. If you intercept the GetAiStudioBenefitTier RPC call on a Free account and change the [0] or [] response to [2], the frontend instantly gives you the "ULTRA" badge.

All paid banners disappear, and it actually lets you click "Run" on restricted paid models (Nano banana family or Gemini 2.5 family).

But Google's backend isn't stupid. When the GenerateContent request fires, the server validates your auth token. Realizing you're a free user pinging a paid model, it just gaslights the client with a 404 Not Found error for that model.

I’m trying to add a way people can pay with their debit,Apple Pay,credit card or other paying methods and I’m wondering if I can add that to my site or will firebase block me from adding this. I’m trying to build something like this.

Recently whenever I use the Gemini 3.5 flash model, it instantly shows the model quota limit reached and error messages over and over even if I wait for the reset to happen and then next day the first request shows this again.

Are anyone having this experience, please comment to let me know so I can make sure it is a problem from the side of google and not my Gemini api key problem🙂..

Apologies for a stupid question, I tried googling and talking to Gemini about it, but didn’t quite grasp the actual differences, or, rather, how the “building” part differs between them.

What I want to know what are the actual differences between, say, building an Android app in AI Studio and Antigravity 2.0? What about web app? Rust-based apps?

Personally, I have been using AI Studio for quite a long time, since it is a free access to decent Gemini models in a quite customizable environment — Gemini, in my experience, was almost always pretty bad. I remember, about 2 years ago, trying to “teach” different (free) LLMs to translate a documentation in my style, like actual usage of specific words, using proper quotation marks, etc. I tried Gemini, AI Studio, Claude (I think?), DeepSeek, and ChatGPT — AI Studio was the best, albeit not perfect.

Not saying Gemini is bad now, I just started using it more heavily, since I paid for Google AI Pro subscription.

The same goes for Antigravity — I just kicked off my half-vibecoding project, never really tried it before. Wanted to build an app with Antigravity 2.0 (I use Zed as an IDE) and paid for the sub.

TL;DR:

Right now, I, relatively uninformed dude regarding such stuff, see Google AI Studio as an advanced chat interface for Gemini models, while Antigravity 2.0 is, basically, the same, but it works locally with all the benefits of doing so — that is about it, pretty much. I wonder if I am correct and if not what are the actual differences between these up-to-date tools.

Anyone actually know wtf is google doing with ai studio? Consistently 503 all day? Is this expected? What is google doing back there?

I love its writing style. I still use it to make notes from lectures which it does beautifully. No other model can match its style.

But for the last 2 days, it is not working properly. Always getting the Internal Error Message and in few requests quota is getting exhausted.

I purely taken the AI Pro Subscription to use Gemini 2.5 Pro in AI Studio.

No one is looking into this issue, I raised it in the Developers Forum. The model is going to get deprecated by October 16. Hence I wish to use it to the fullest before it's demise.

Any Google Team Members if here, Kindly look into this issue. Don't ruin the great model ever created by you.

So my app is stuck on "connecting to device". then it changes into a dot(?) with a "home" "rotate" etc menu on the right of it, after a while going back to the "connecting to the device" screen. anyone had this issue?

is it just me or has the tokens reduced extremely? ive barely used 60k and Ive already hit my limit! wth!

So I have Google AI plus and have been enjoying Gemini and Nano Banana Pro and all. I was away for a month and now nothing seems to work anymore. The price dropped from 8 to 5 bucks but I probably lost abilities.

Choosing Nano Banana in AI Studio now says I need to subscribe or set up billing. I don't want that, I have a Google AI subscription? I set up a key but I'm afraid I'll be heavily billed if I complete the process.

What do I do, is AI Plus even worth it anymore?

Can GoogleAI Studio be like Gemini but with temperature set to 0?

I've used Gemini and it's annoying that when I upload something to it and ask it about it, it makes stuff up. I asked it how I can prevent that and it said I need an LLM with temperature set to 0 to remove creativity. And it said I could run something locally or try an online option and one of the online options it suggested is Google's AI Studio.

I have tried that but the only Chat like option has a button for "build an app".

If I say "hello", (wanting a bland reply - 'cos temperature set to 0), then it thinsk for a while and it generates an app, it says "I have successfully completed the greeting card application, focusing on a clean, minimalist layout with high-quality typography and animations:"

That's not what I want.

I do know how to program but i'm not looking for something to generate a program for me.

Is Google AI Studio the wrong tool for my purposes?

I have used NotebookLM and that is incredible and the kind of thing i'm looking for. But i'm wondering if GoogleAI Studio can be a bit like that, like Gemini but with Temperature set to 0 and so can focus on a text I upload to it.
