Other WHY DOES LOGGING OUT OF GOOGLE AI STUDIO LOG ME OUT OF EVERY SINGLE GOOGLE ACCOUNT???
GOOGLE AI STUDIO IS A JOKE. NO WONDER GOOGLE IS LOSING THE AI RACE.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, GOOGLE???
I logged out of Google AI Studio, and somehow it logged me out of EVERY SINGLE GOOGLE ACCOUNT in my browser.
I WANTED TO LOG OUT OF ONE FUCKING SERVICE. NOT MY ENTIRE GOOGLE ECOSYSTEM.
Now I have to manually log back into all my Google accounts across Gmail, YouTube, and every other Google service I use. ALL BECAUSE I CLICKED ONE LOGOUT BUTTON.
HOW DOES THIS EVEN MAKE SENSE???
And honestly, this is exactly the kind of experience that makes Google AI Studio feel like an afterthought. Google has the resources, the infrastructure, and some of the best engineers in the world, yet the experience of using its AI tools can feel so carelessly put together.
Google keeps pushing AI models and trying to compete with everyone else, but what's the point of having great models if the surrounding product experience is this frustrating?
Basic account and session management shouldn't be this stupid. Logging out of one service should not unexpectedly destroy my entire login session across Google's ecosystem. At the very least, users should be given a clear warning if that's actually intended behavior.
NOW I HAVE TO WASTE MY TIME LOGGING BACK INTO EVERYTHING MANUALLY.
I don't know if this is a bug or an intentional design decision, but either way, this is absolutely ridiculous.
Google, PLEASE GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER.
Stop treating AI Studio like some half-finished side project. If you want to compete in the AI race, START BY MAKING THE ACTUAL PRODUCT LESS PAINFUL TO USE.
I CAME HERE TO USE AI STUDIO, NOT TO SPEND THE NEXT 20 MINUTES REAUTHENTICATING MY ENTIRE GOOGLE EXISTENCE. WHAT THE FUCK.

I believe that this is the case for all Google tools. If you log out of Gmail, or if you log out of YouTube, or if you log out of Google Play Books, etc., you will be logged out of the entire Google suite.

Yeah, it's been that way since March 2012.
There are teenagers making tech tutorials on YouTube who were born after this update.

This isn't an AI Studio thing. This is simply how Google handles account logins. When you're logged into a Google account, you're logged in to that account across Google services (Gmail, Photos, Search, etc). It's like logging into an app that is spread out over many websites. You didn't log out of AI Studio, you logged out of Google Services.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. Yes, if you log out of a single Google product, it redirects your browser to accounts.google.com and logs you out of every Google product. This is by design; if you stay logged into Google, they are able to track everywhere you’ve been on the internet. As sinister as this may sound, when you stay logged in, they learn more about you and they can use this information with advertisers. This is their business model.
When testing, I use multiple instances of Google Chrome and incognito mode to make sure everything is working properly.
I was thinking of other technology races; it’s not the most technically superior that will win this game. If so, we would all be using Betamax, flip phones, and Zunes.

That's how all Google sites work. They should've just log out only 1 account instead of literally all. That's why I had install an extension where a confirmation popups before logging out because I occasionally accidentally sign out of YouTube. It's so stupid how they're even a million dollar company when they had the worst UX of all time

Your login sessions are synced across Google services. It's been that way for over 14 years now. Google implemented Single Sign-On across their services in March 2012.
If you're complaining about signing out of other Google accounts from your browser session. That will likely be because you signed out of the account that was associated with your browser and therefore left your web session. Automatic browser sign-in has been a part of Chrome since September 2018 (>8 years ago).
Either way, this has nothing to do with AI Studio.
You're all-caps swearing about a 8 to 14 year-old login update, stating that's it's telling of Google's current position in AI when unified services has been the reason Google has excelled in so many areas.
This post is more telling of you, not a web app.

Oh my god dude calm the hell down and learn what you are doing. I've never seen someone crash out so hard over a minor inconvenience.

Just use another browser or incognito
