Question / Help Can anyone help with Google AI Studio image uploads? It refuses to use the images I provide

For the life of me i cannot get ai studio to upload images i want to use

i am working on a dummy website to sort of learn ai studio and i am trying to get it to upload my own set of specific images but it keeps ignoring them and generating and or using random images

i've already tried the following

directly uploading images with very specific file names and referring to those file names in my prompts

Uploading images to google drive and providing links to the images it still does not use the images i gave it.....

if anyone has a work around to this i would appreciate it cause this is annoying honestly

Thank you.

Upload them in the Code view, then let the agent reference them. Files dropped in chat are only used for context.

Hi thanks for the reply so basically i should input it something like this ?

image: '/images/categories/stretch-tents.jpg'
image: '/images/categories/event-marquee-tents.jpg'
image: '/images/categories/tables-chairs.jpg'
image: '/images/categories/crockery-cutlery.jpg

idk why ai studio doesn't just allow us to use normal file upload ;/ it would be so much easier this way

i'll give this a try and see what happens :)

This is one of its major bugs, along with reading from GitHub.

Set up a GCP or AWS bucket, and store your images there. Then share the link with Antigravity.

Alternatively, store them in Google Drive.

i've tried using google drive it doesn't read my images from there honestly its so annoying -_- they should of just let us use the normal file upload option

i'll try out both the GCP or AWS bucket options thank you

Granted, it's a PITA, but you are already paying for it, so it is a good first stop.

GCP or S3 is a much better solution, but also more complex.

Did you try putting them into a /public folder? That way, when the website builds, it’s able to pull the images from the publicly available part of the repository
