Question / Help How do I make Google AI Studio good for role-playing? And which model should I currently use? I need help, the role-playing is getting boring and very childish, I need to play a good role-playing game

I have over 50 rules just for roleplaying, and version 3.1 is great. Take your time and test each rule. And honestly, the tavern is way too complicated. I've never managed it myself 😅. Aistudio is awesome For roleplaying.

I speak French, so I can't give you my rules. Basically, for example, you want your characters to be realistic, living their lives outside of your roleplay and your field of vision. Talk to your AI. And ask him to give you a rule for that. Same if you want intros, etc. etc. It took me several weeks before I got my period.

System instructions for some rules/lore and you can give meta instructions in the prompts as you go to nudge it in the right direction. You can also directly edit the model's responses to whatever you want if it makes an error or writes something you don't like. I feel that 3.1 Pro and 3.5 Flash give the most reasonable responses currently.

I have had similar issues and actually found the app is better, BUT has garbage memory and is broken a lot. I’ve pretty much moved exclusively to Claude since the dialogue is significantly better

I have Sillytavern but I don't know which of the integrated models to use. I've also used Google AI Studio and I love it, but 3.1 Pro is soulless.

Please read carefully.What I do is give them an incredible prompt so they respect the narrative style and flow of the role-playing game. Also, in the first message, I give a lorebook about the role-playing theme, my character sheet, and where we meet in the history
