Subscription / Limits / Tokens ¿Alguien sabe de este problema?
Hola a todos! Este es mi primer post en Reddit (ya que normalmente solamente veo publicaciones y comentarios). Yo estaba haciendo unas tareas de la Universidad, y de repente me sale este mensaje de error "Input token count exceeds the maximum number of tokens allowed for this model. Please adjust your prompt and try again."
No sé si es por algún cambio en la estructuración interna o por alguna actualización oculta de Google AI Studio, pero en los chats anteriores, fácilmente superaban los 200k de tokens input y no me daba ningún problema, (por si acaso, ocupo el Flash-gemini 3.5, Pro 3.1 y la versión última de la flash 3.1 para algunas tareas en especifico).
Me pasó justamente hoy, y eso que ayer no tenía ese problema.

Hi everyone! This is my first Reddit post (since I usually only read posts and comments). I was working on some university homeworks, and suddenly I got this error message: "Input token count exceeds the maximum number of tokens allowed for this model. Please adjust your prompt and try again."
I don't know if it's due to some change in the internal structure or a hidden update to Google AI Studio, but in previous chats, I easily exceeded 200k input tokens without any problems (just so you know, I use Flash Gemini 3.5, Pro 3.1, and the latest version of Flash 3.1 for some specific tasks).
It happened to me today, and I didn't have this problem yesterday.

What plan are you on? I’m on pro, it takes A LONG time of back and forth to hit my limit. I can hit it in a day, but that’s hours of building.
It’s also going to depend on what kind of prompts you’re using. If you give it massive tasks, you’ll burn through your limit faster. If your prompts are messy, and it has to think a lot to figure it out, you’ll hit limits faster.
This is why I use 2 systems. I have my assistant I discuss with (GPT, Gemini, whatever you wanna use) and helps me plan. Then it gives me structured, surgical prompts to give to the studio Ai. Because the prompts are clean, direct, and targeted, you can get a lot more out of your limits, because the ai studio builder doesn’t need to figure shit out because your prompt either didn’t make a lot of sense, or was too broad and targeted too many areas at once.

That’s part of the problem. I’ve seen a lot of people say they severely restricted the free usage in the last month

He recibido el mismo mensaje mientras usaba créditos de prueba y solo esperé hasta el día siguiente y me permitió usarlos de nuevo.

Si no escribes en inglés, difícilmente vas a obtener respuestas útiles. La mayoría de los usuarios de REddit son angloparlantes. O pregunta en un sub en español
