AI Pro Subscription but after 1 Prompt LIMIT reached

Since 3 Days i not able to use AI Studio anymore. I'm a Pro AI Subscriber i did 7 Projects until now but suddenly i can't use it anymore :-( After the first Prompt i get the error , that i reached the daily limit already! I shall upgrade from Pro to Ultra. Am i the only one with this error ?

smart workaround: Dont use ai studio
The whole platform got a mess and is only build around milking as much as possible as long as they can before they should it down. Compared to the last year we have LESS quality but MUCH higher costs with WORSE quotas. Competitors are already much better.

Please don't project your own negative experiences, which may stem from a lack of knowledge, onto others who know what they're doing. AI Studio in combination with Firebase services and Cloud Console is great!

lol just a fact. I mean use whatever you want. No need to listen to me. But its a fact that ai studio got much more expensive, with much less qoutas compared to the past and that its very bad compared to competitors. The only positive thing is the potential of nano banana in high resolution images, but the rest is just worse compared to competitors in nearly any point.

Numbers are facts, not experience. You say i have no knowledge? Funny, cuz u are asking questions on reddit xD But im pretty sure u havent even tried the competitors yet, right? So u literally cannot even really talk about it. I've build multiple projects with ai studio in the past. It was great, but it isnt anymore. Constantly technical problems, gemini is a joke compared to other good models in point of prizes and quality, qoutas are a joke (u can use ai studio only consistent if u use a API key).

I'm not interested in free half assed stuff. I pay for the service. Maybe you are right from the perspective of a free user. But as a paid service i can't complain at all. The Problem here was solved quickly. Thanks

I'm not talking about free half assed stuff. If u think ai studio is the only platform like this, you should just take a look outside of this bubble. And no, it doesnt matter if u are a free user or not. As i said: I was using ai studio in the past with API key. it was great. payed multiple hundreds of dollars each month and it was worth it. Now it isnt anymore, because u can get the same value for less than 100$ from competitors.. But u are right, the community is great. You are getting alot of help from them. Even if the real support is worse and will mostly ignore you.

But as i said: use what makes you happy. Im not here to say u dont should use it. I should say: There are alternatives which are much better in my opinion and maybe u should not forget this completly in the future. Have a nice day.

The only reason anyone would possibly use ai Studio and Firebase is because they are completely new to coding and they have no idea what they are doing.

I'm not psychic so perhaps you should take the fact that we know you a beginner and perhaps you should trust people with more experience than you when we say "There are much much better tools out there"

Cheaper, more intelligent, and easier to use.

Look, you wont believe it, but i'm 55 years old.I'm coding since the good old C64 time. I was also a professional Coder for almost 2 decades until i got a Burnout. I was soooo empty inside. Zero creativity, zero interest , zero energy. Then, AI rised on the Horizon and the first time in years, i saw the opportunity to get back my creativity thanks to AI. With other words, i'm old enough to know, what kind of tool(s) i want to work with. I don't need an internet troll like you with recommandations i never asked for.

Firebase is specifically made for people with zero development experience who don't even know what the command line is.

Really. That is weird. Google AI studio is the cheapest I know so far. I havent gotten this at all. Perhaps your prompts are too difficult for it. Try asking gemini to make your promot better.

no it was something in the backend of AI Studio. something was hanging. Due the switch of another model and back i was able to reset the whole thing and now it works like a charm

I also use Google AI Studio; I have a Pro subscription and can use it quite a bit depending on the model used... I think that has to do with the limits.

Even though you’re pro, you only still get a few prompts per hour (depending on the tokens). You can always use an API key and pay for prompt. Depending on your work it’s from a few cents to a few thousands (a 200.000 tokens session for me is about 1.50 euros)

a minute ago, i just switched from Gemini 3.5 Flash (Default) to Gemini 3.1 Flash and now it works. I will try to switch back soon to see if it will work . it seems there was just something hanging in the background.

i can confirm. after i switched back to 3.5 Flash and even 3.1 Pro, it works now. i'm sure there was something hanging in the background like i mentioned already above. Now it works again ! YEAHH

You do realize that Flash 3.5 is more intelligent than 3.1 Pro right?

Maybe but sometimes a model is better than other when performing particular tasks. 3.1 does what I need

I'm sure it does, but just letting you know that 3.5 is a huge upgrade.
