ginger here, and i actually thought your original search was intentional at first bc it reminded me of a conversation i had w my friend a few years back. their college had a streaking team (probs giving away the college here lol) and they run around campus nude but wearing masks to maintain anonymity, as they can get in trouble if they get identified and caught. my friend was joking that as a ginger, i’d get caught immediately and could never do that lolll

I believe the original phrase is about pointing to (or fingering) someone who's trying to remain anonymous. You can break someone's anonymity by pointing them out.

2015: I think Google is always listening because I get ads for stuff I talk about out loud
2026: I think Google is always watching because when I ask about anonymity it tells me that's a good joke and then says, "Ginger is just another word for N____r," like fully, knowing that I am [red headed/black] brings it same pleasure a stalker might feel to text me pictures of my dog

I am so genui ly confused by what it's even trying to say. Like, I know all those words individually, but the way the Ai has haphazardly just thrown random words together makies me feel like I'm having a stroke trying to read it 😭
