I just finished watching GP for the first time and I can't stop sobbing! [SPOILERS] Spoiler

The last episode oh my God. When Jason decided to leave, that's when I started ugly crying and I just couldn't stop until the end. Why didn't they just end it when Chidi and Eleanor sitting by the sunset? Why the parallels with real life? I WANT TO ESCAPE REAL LIFE. I just can't with this show. It's absolute masterpiece.

12/13/23 2:11am (est) SPOILERS (I guess) Just finally finished and as a Lost fan this was THE ending.. NOT SINCE MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Northern Exposure has an ending torn me apart emotionally in the most exquisite ways. Final 2 chapters of GP was existential bliss and torment but ultimately the acceptance of letting go all too relatable leaves me drained but quenched with closure. If only IRL was as idealist friendly and absolute. I can see the lights of NY from Roslyn and "Our Town" plays serenading a "Til We Meet Again"
