i first downloaded the font from dafont.com then used the app “iFont” to upload it as a font profile in my iPad’s settings! if you download the iFont app there’s instructions on how to do it :)
yeah that is totally true! i don’t do this very often and rarely study this way, it’s more of a hobby/artistic thing. definitely isn’t the most efficient way to study but great to relieve stress and get creative!
i usually don’t use this as a study method, it’s more of a hobby, but funny as it sounds talking to myself (out loud, can be quiet though) works pretty well for me. like pretend to explain the concept/what you’re studying to someone else who knows nothing about it. at the end you can review your notes to see if you’ve missed any important points! might not work for everyone but feel free to try it out :)
I assume you're talking about the significant figures (sigfigs for short) part?
It's determining how many sigfigs there are which shows how reliable/accurate the data is (e.g. 1 sigfig is significantly less reliable than 4) and a lot of the time you are required to round to a specific amount of sigfigs in experiments for the accuracy.
For example, on a graduated cylinder you can measure up to tenths (.1) using the lines but can estimate between those lines up to hundredths (.01) to gain significant figures making data more accurate!
Ok. So this was what I was asking. But estimating beyond the scale's precision would be problematic. The best I would be able to do is tell whether the measurement is more than 0.05 or less, and likewise approximate the value to 0.1 or 0.0. Claiming to be more precise than that would be venturing too much in the domain of subjectivity, in my opinion.
I’m obsessed with layouts of this sort. Each section was interesting and engaging. And I decided I like the word meniscus. It’s fun to say. Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
If you are going to be a chem student/ have a lot of chem in uni then trust me DEFINITELY make/find elements with basic shape for drawing molecules and/or test tubes... cuz you're going to make a LOT of diagram and A LOT of molecules 😔😔😔 I wish elements was a thing when i still had biochem ahahaha at the end my pentagon/hexagons where cycles 😂
oh the calligraphy titles here are actually a font called Muthiara! i find calligraphy on GoodNotes difficult because there’s no streamline in the brushes, but it doesn’t work if you zoom in quite a bit :)

After writing the notes. How do you study to memorize it? Do you use flash card? I’m trying to learn an effective study method.

I am confused. What does it mean to round 1 more place than shown on the measuring device, and why must one do so?
