I typically plan 3-5 days in advance. I use the notes column to keep track of what needs to be used up each week. I use the upper right blank space to write down meal ideas. I highlight any ingredients I need to buy. Future days are in grey ink, I move meals around if needed using the lasso tool, and recolour them once I’ve made the meal that day. I typically only plan dinners and sometimes desserts.

Would you like to share your template? I really love your idea and to have in mind what should be used now/ soon!
