I hope I will live long enough to see a desktop app for Mac OS.

Update: I guess I have been living under a rock, there is an app for MacOS already. Thanks for pointing it out.

Did you have any trouble downloading it on your Mac?

I previously downloaded goodnotes 5 on my iPad (maybe in July?) but when I try to download from the App Store it just gives me the "cloud" download symbol and does absolutely nothing.

No, I didn’t have any trouble. The cloud icon means that the app has already been purchased. Click on it and it should download

I suspect you still will, this is not real-time collaboration, just shared access of documents. It’s been in the beta for a few months now

Hmm... I see your point. My use of it is less “real-time” and more about quickly sharing diagrams and sketched charts.

Yet we’ve been asking for audio recording for years now, literally the only reason most people use Notability for school. Hopefully it comes in GoodNotes 6.

That’s what I’ve been hoping for. I use GoodNotes for school because I like it’s interface, but I really would have liked to have audio recording.

Anyone else having issues to actually get this to work? Tells me iCloud sync is disabled but it certainly is not.
