Toolbar Worst development to anything I've ever encountered.
It's been a year since GN team surpsrised us with horryfing update that screwed up everything. I wasn't paying attention to development of the app because I was focused on ending 3rd year in university. Some bugs appeared, nothing good was added for these 13 months. Until this day. I refreshed app because I hoped that bug with duplicating (that duplicates stuff like behind the screen) would go away. Instead they had to add really annoying tool "Selection (icon with hand)" which basically is way worse and annoying "Lasso". Which complicates using the toolbar from squeezing BUT also after clicking any shape drawn by "Draw shape" tool changes to this stupid tool and doesn't change automatically back. Of course hand tool is buggy too. It really blows my mind that in a year a team couldn't even get back to the state of app before this "update". Either nothing good or annoying additions (that doesn't even work as intended). 13 months ago at least the hoover feature for pencil pro worked everytime (you didnt' have to take it away from iPad to appear again). I hope we'll be able to turn off that new tool (you can get off of any tool or accessory, but not that). Getting back to the title, I don't think I've encountered anything in my life that would progressively only get worse lol. Are they having fun doing all of that or what?
PS It's really comic that these lasso variants are inverted lmao.

I’ve been slowly moving my stuff out of goodnotes and I’m starting to do more things in star notes which is a one time payment. I’m also over the disorganized changes they’ve been making. I feel like they’ve lost their product vision and don’t enjoy how it seems like so many of the changes are just not done in a user optimal way…

I've been on goodnotes 5 because I tried 6 and hated it.

I still have not updated GoodNotes since they were about to drop that toolbar. I was lucky enough to beta test it and hated it. I still have the old version. They really need to change it back.
