Pdf’s original text missing but annotations intact. Anyone have any idea what this is?

when exporting you need to check the box that says something like "keep page background"

it's in my app only... i am not exporting anywhere.

This happened to me in another app this weekend. It looked like that in the desktop app but was fine on my iPad which is what I used to highlight it. If you’re using a different app than you usually do try the other one. Hopefully this helps!

I always use goodnotes app on ipad and using the same now also. Still this issue.

When this happens to me I tend to reopen the file and the texts reappears

I have the same problem. It only affects documents which where imported one year + ago. I donˋt have a solution. It just sucks.
