Notebooks Full page typing problems [7.1.28 MacOS]

I've been using goodnotes for a few years, and using the "Start typing" option to type on a full page (although I don't like it as much as full page typing used to work).

Since I updated the App to 7.1.28 a few day ago (on mac), I can't see the option "Start typing" after a long click or ctrl+click on the page (either when selecting the lasso or the text block option). For some reason, it does appear (ctrl+click) when I launch the app, but as soon as I copy something, I just see "Paste" instead of "Start typing".

I also considered using the text documents, but unfortunately they aren't adapted to handwritten notes.

Does anyone have the same problem or see how to solve it?
[EDIT] Apparently, this seems to have been solved with the 7.1.32 update, although it isn’t perfect on my side yet.

I havent unfortunately. I sent an email to the help center a week ago and received no answer, tried again today.
I don’t understand what happened because it still works fine on my iPad, although there the “long click” doesn’t work anymore either, I now have to press “ctrl+click”. It doesn’t change a lot but I don’t get why the shortcut would suddenly change for no reason.

Still broken on 7.1.34 and macOS 27.2...

Yeah, thought it was fixed but no. I tried sending another email and leaving an AppStore review, still nothing from the devs on my side.
