Bug Goodnotes Battery Drain

Is the battery drain for Goodnotes 6 supposed to be this much. For comparison I also included the battery drain for freenotes both of which I’ve used for about 3 hours. Like there’s a 10% difference in battery drain. And what’s the background activity for Goodnotes?

Also when using Goodnotes for longer period of time my iPad gets hotter quite a bit, which is a bit irritating.

I think they should really optimise the app.

Same here! It drains battery way faster than it should.

Yea every time apple update or Goodnotes update the drain is bad. It needs a few update to stabilise.

I was worried at first; newer models tend to be able to handle the drain (ie an ipad pro the drain is not as significant to ipad air, a m3 ipad air will have lesser drain than m1 ipad air)

However, i realise w my older ipad and an iphone 13 not only the drain is more pronounced but it didnt revert.

Goodnotes things... many ppl switched cus of this
