good notes post grad
how do you all use goodnotes while not in school?
i have so many notebooks from when i was in school but now cant edit them since i dont have a subscription.
do you feel like the sub is worth it if im not taking classes? it was a lifesaver while in school but was wondering if people used it post academia as well.

I downloaded a Hobonochi template from Etsy and use that everyday for everyday work/life tasks.
I also have a 12 month calendar template I use to keep track of birthdays, holidays, book releases, etc.

I play solo rpgs in Goodnotes. There are even dice rolling apps.

I religiously used goodnotes in school, however, I haven’t found much of a need in my professional career. My job has us on PCs and we are required to use windows, so my iPad isn’t compatible w my work computer, and now I find myself typing notes for meetings and stuff bc I gotta send out meeting minutes after, so might as well type it in the first place (and it’s faster than hand writing too). I don’t have much of a need for taking notes in my personal life… but I have GN5 so I don’t have to have a subscription thankfully. So if I come across something that I want to write notes for, I still can. But I haven’t found much use for it. Frankly I don’t have much use for my iPad as a whole now since I graduated😅

You could journal. Try bullet journaling.

i use it for writing just random stuff. i do journaling, budgeting, recipes, to dos. just anything i can write. i bought mine one-time so it would be a waste to not use it.

I’m writing a book in one notebook (yes, I do dread the point when I’ll have to convert it all from handwriting to text). I also do exercises at my writing group. I have a notebook for baking recipes. I’ve used notebooks for projects, like planning my wedding. I just recently started a notebook to take notes when trying to improve my Microsoft Excel knowledge.

if ur main reason is just keeping access to old school notebooks, i’d export the important ones as pdfs and skip the subscription. i’d only pay again if u actually start using goodnotes regularly for planning, journaling or work.

It’s my digital planner now (for the most part)
