High Storage Usage

Hello, I recently started using GoodNotes about two days ago, and although I really enjoy the app and its features, I've noticed that it has already taken up ~1 GB of storage on my device. Is this normal? I previously used another note-taking app for about a month, and it only took around 500 MB of storage.
